Their Mission Statement
Preserve, promote and protect the
memory and contributions of those who
fought for the freedom of Americans of African descent, both military
and civilian during the period of the American Civil War. This is
accomplished through the active participation in re-enactments, living
history, historic preservation scholarships and public presentations.
