Can I submit my manuscript in handwritten pages?
 No, your manuscript should be typed in double space.

Should my manuscript be copyright before sending it to a publisher?
Yes, it is a good idea.  You can do a "Poor Man's Copyright" by sending a copy of your manuscript to your self.  Do not open it until you have received your actual copyright notice from the Library of Congress..

I'm a good speller, should I have to pay for proof reading?
No, that's your option, but if you want to be safe I would have it proofed read by a professional.

I see that you have a section on Manuscript Evaluation.  Do I have to have this done on my book?
Manuscript Evaluation is a very important process that authors should consider.  This process will provide positive feedback on the readability and marketability of you book, but this is your option.

I have a set budget, do I have to have 500 or books printed?
No. You can get as little as 100 books or more at a single press run.

What is the average cost to print a book?
There is no average price, each book cost differs from the another.  The cost can be based on the number of pages, size, cover and more.

As a self-publisher, should I create a publisher's name?
Yes, we recommend this because it is best to be represented by a second party.

Will it be difficult to get book signing, interviews when my book is published?
What you would need is someone to represent you in those areas.

Do I need an ISBN number for my book?
Yes, the ISBN number is a unique  number in which you and your book are identify by future book buyers.

Once my book is published, can I just take them to bookstores and sell directly to them them?
Well, most book store prefer to order from the publisher or distributor not from the author. If you are acting as an agent for the publisher, you can.

Are review copies important to send out?
Yes they are.  Review copies are sent to people or organizations that can possible promote your new book.

Why is it important to have media coverage before having a book signing?
If  no one knows about your book, they will not come to purchase your book.
